Equipped with continuously variable counterbalance and tilt-drag controls, the Vinten Vision blue3 Fluid Head supports camera configurations weighing from 6.6 to 14.6 pounds. Both adjustments can be matched precisely to the installed rig, eliminating compromises associated with approximate balancing. With the separately available blueBridge accessory, the head can accommodate cameras weighing as little as 4.6 pounds.
The standard 75mm ball mount allows the head to be leveled on a tripod fitted with a 75mm bowl. Its bubble level helps establish an accurate horizon for properly aligned horizontal pans and includes illumination for visibility in dim conditions. A single press activates the light for 15 seconds to conserve battery power.
The supplied sliding balance plate accepts the included 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws, enabling secure attachment of DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and camcorders. An integrated safety catch prevents the camera from accidentally sliding off while the plate is loosened. A fixed-length pan handle is included for operating the head and can attach to locking rosettes on either side.
