Vinten Vision blue Pan and Tilt Fluid Video Head
Created for operators who require precise movement and reliable support for lightweight camcorders and DSLRs, the Vinten Vision blue Pan and Tilt Fluid Video Head carries payloads from 4.6 to 11 lb when their center of gravity is 2.2". Its 75mm ball permits proper leveling when installed in a compatible tripod bowl. Beyond these fundamentals, the Vision blue incorporates an infinitely variable Perfect Balance system, enabling the counterbalance to be matched accurately to the camera configuration. Working alongside calibrated, continuously adjustable Lubricated Friction—or LF—Drag technology, this system provides refined control throughout pan and tilt movements.
The fluid head offers 90° of upward and downward tilt along with unrestricted 360° panning. Its included two-way sliding camera plate uses a 1/4" screw-and-pin assembly for fast camera attachment. One fixed-length pan handle is supplied and can be installed on either side using the head's rosettes. The head weighs 5.3 lb and also includes an LED-illuminated bubble level.
Vinten Flowtech 75 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader and Rubber Feet
Departing from traditional single- or dual-tube carbon-fiber construction, the Vinten Flowtech 75 Carbon Fiber Tripod with Mid-Level Spreader and Rubber Feet employs specially shaped legs that increase torsional strength. Despite weighing less than 7 pounds, the tripod supports payloads as heavy as 44 pounds. With its removable mid-level spreader attached, it adjusts from a minimum height of 24" to a maximum of 61". A single clamping lever on each leg releases and secures all of its sections.
Every leg extends and retracts independently of the other two. Once disconnected from the spreader, an individual leg can also pivot without disturbing the remaining legs, making setup easier on rugged or uneven ground. The spreader can be removed altogether, allowing each leg to lock at any of three positions for spreader-free use. This permits an extremely wide stance for low-angle shots while preserving the tripod's resistance to twisting. Dual spikes on each leg provide added traction on soft terrain, and the included rubber feet snap over those spikes to improve grip on hard surfaces while protecting delicate floors.
