Ultimate Kit Contents
This Nucleus-M II Ultimate Kit includes a FIZ handwheel controller, lanyard, ARRI rosette adapter, one 0.5 MOD gear, two 0.8 MOD gears, one electronic focus disk, five standard focus disks, two motors, left and right handgrips, 15 and 19mm rod mounts, baby pin and hand-unit monitor mounts, 7-pin and D-Tap cables, and a waterproof hard case for protecting the system in storage and transit.

Familiar Operating Ecosystem
Seamless integration with the original Nucleus-M removes the need for existing users to learn an entirely new system. The updated model preserves the first version's damping adjustment and menu shortcut layout.
Enhanced Handwheel Unit
- The handwheel adds adjustable tension and integrated lens mapping, while clearly presenting focus, iris, and zoom information in as many as four locations.
- Four available control methods consist of the wheel, rocker, slider, and dial.
- On select cameras, you can operate settings that include white balance, ISO, and shutter speed.
Electronic Focus Marking Disk
- The new electronic marking disk supports accurate focus pulls with the Nucleus-M II, including in lower-light environments.
- Remove this detachable ring whenever you prefer to use physical focus markings.
Expanded 2.4" Touchscreen
Quickly reach focus, aperture, ISO, and other controls through the new 2.4" color touchscreen.
Reengineered Lens Motors
The updated lens motors feature high torque, a simplified interface, color-coded LED indicators, and a compact body ideal for handheld, gimbal, and drone operation.
Revised Algorithms
- The new PID 2.0 (Proportional Integral Derivative) algorithm gives the Nucleus-M II a rapid 0.02-second response while maintaining smooth adjustments without stutter or delay.
- Using the system with its handwheel enables operation across up to four channels.
- Simple pairing with stabilizers such as the DJI RS 2 reduces the time needed for setup.
- Gears can be replaced rapidly because of the modular construction.
- Single-rod mounts for both 15 and 19mm rods are included.

Four Independent Control Channels
- In addition to focus, iris, and zoom, the Nucleus-M II provides a fourth channel for geared filters, including Tilta's variable ND for the Mirage Pro Matte Box.
- Remote ND operation permits exposure changes in real time, which is valuable when filming complex dolly moves or working with handheld rigs, gimbals, and stabilizers.
Ergonomically Designed Handgrips
- Configure the ergonomic handgrips for optimal comfort and transition easily between primary and secondary controls.
- The Nucleus-M II can be arranged as a top handle, used in handheld mode, or incorporated into a stabilizer setup.
Sony L-Series Type Battery Support
The handwheel accepts commonly available Sony L-Series type batteries, which may already be part of your equipment package and provide extended runtimes.
Recallable Setting Presets
As many as 128 data presets can be saved on the Nucleus-M II handwheel controller, allowing settings to be retrieved quickly with a touch.
