Handwheel Kit Contents
Included in this Nucleus-M II handwheel package are a FIZ handwheel controller, lanyard, ARRI rosette adapter, one 0.8 MOD gear, two focus gear rings, one electronic focus marking disk, five standard focus marking disks, a motor, 15 and 19mm rod mounts, 7-pin and D-Tap cables, and a protective soft-shell case for transportation and storage.

A Familiar Ecosystem
Integration with the original Nucleus-M is seamless, so existing users can adopt this updated system without facing a new learning curve. The original model's damping adjustment and menu shortcut arrangement are retained.
Enhanced Handwheel Unit
- The handwheel now provides adjustable tension and integrated lens mapping, with clear focus, iris, and zoom data visible in as many as four locations.
- Choose among four control methods: the wheel, rocker, slider, or dial.
- Adjust settings such as ISO, white balance, and shutter speed on select cameras.
Electronic Focus Marking Disk
- A new electronic marking disk enables the Nucleus-M II to perform accurate focus pulls even under lower-light conditions
- Detach the ring whenever you want to return to physical focus markings
Expanded 2.4" Touchscreen
The new 2.4" color touchscreen supplies fast access to focus, aperture, ISO, and additional controls.
Reworked Lens Motors
Updated lens motors combine high torque with a streamlined interface, color-coded LED indicators, and a compact body well suited to handheld, gimbal, and drone configurations.
Revised Control Algorithms
- With its new PID 2.0 (Proportional Integral Derivative) algorithm, the Nucleus-M II responds in just 0.02 seconds while delivering smooth adjustments free from stutter and delay
- Pairing the system with the handwheel enables control over as many as four channels
- Effortless pairing with stabilizers such as the DJI RS 2 helps shorten setup time
- Its modular construction permits rapid gear replacement
- Both 15 and 19mm single-rod mounts are supplied with this kit

Control Across Four Channels
- Beyond focus, iris, and zoom, the Nucleus-M II supplies a fourth channel for geared filters, including Tilta's variable ND for the Mirage Pro Matte Box
- Remote ND operation enables exposure changes in real time, which is especially useful for complicated dolly moves and shots made with handheld rigs, stabilizers, or gimbals
Optional Ergonomic Handgrips
- Add separately available ergonomic handgrips for greater comfort and easy transitions between primary and secondary controls
- These grips support configuring the Nucleus-M II as a top handle, for handheld operation, or within a stabilizer setup
Sony L-Series Type Battery Support
Widely available Sony L-Series type batteries power the handwheel unit, providing extended operating times and allowing you to use batteries that may already be part of your equipment kit.
Stored Setting Presets
Store as many as 128 data presets on the Nucleus-M II handwheel controller and retrieve the required settings quickly with a touch.
Protection Against Power Loss
Even following a power outage, power-loss protection preserves the MARK point and RANG memory setting.
