Designed for compact DSLR and mirrorless camera rigs, the Tiltaing Mini Matte Box from Tilta combines low weight with a small profile and interchangeable attachment options. It holds one standard 4 x 5.65" filter directly, without requiring a filter tray, and comes with four lens-mounting adapter rings. The supplied carbon fiber upper flag shields the lens from bright reflections and veiling glare. It also folds over the matte box opening to protect the front of the lens.
Use the included 15mm rod clamp and 3.9" rod to support the matte box. Multiple shoe mounts and 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded connections across its exterior accommodate extra accessories. An 87mm-diameter lens fits without an adapter, while the supplied threaded rings support 67, 72, 77, and 82mm lenses. Separately available cine 80 and 85mm rings provide cine-lens compatibility, and additional nonstandard lens adapters are offered separately.
