Protect a Sony FX3 or FX30 digital cinema camera while adding accessory support with this lightweight, configurable Camera Cage V2 from Tilta. The revised cage can provide complete protection or become a lighter half cage for gimbal setups after its side L-bracket is removed. Its black aluminum body retains access to camera controls, while the detachable NATO top plate accommodates the original XLR top handle or an alternative handle.

Rigging options include a top-plate NATO rail, shoe mount, and 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads with anti-twist locating pins. An integrated Arca-style bottom enables rapid attachment to tripod heads and gimbal mounts. The cage supports vertical and horizontal configurations and additionally incorporates a right-hand grip, HDMI cable clamp, and slots for an optional wrist or neck strap.

Full- or Half-Cage Setup

Choose full-cage coverage or a lighter half-cage arrangement suited to gimbal operation. The separately removable top section supports the original XLR audio handle. Detaching the L-bracket converts the system into its half-cage form.

Numerous Accessory Interfaces

Accessory connections consist of a NATO rail, shoe mount, and 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded holes with locating pins. The Arca-type profile beneath the cage permits fast mounting on compatible gimbals and baseplates.

Stable Three-Point Attachment

Three screws fasten the camera body at the left, right, and bottom. The included cable clamp attaches by thumbscrew and helps protect connections from pulling or accidental disconnection.
