Expand the accessory-mounting capability of a Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K or PYXIS 12K cinema camera with the black Full Camera Cage from Tilta. Its modular configuration consists of independently removable components that attach directly to the camera, including left and right side-arm panels, lower and upper plates, and a side SSD plate. Together, they supply an integrated shoe mount, NATO rails, an ARRI-style rosette, 1/4"-20 threaded holes, and anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads.
The multifunctional SSD side plate accommodates an optional drive measuring 2.05 to 2.36" wide and 0.47" thick. A quick release lever allows the SSD to be secured and removed rapidly. An included Manfrotto-type quick release dovetail speeds camera mounting and connects through a bottom thread aligned with the camera’s optical center. The top plate also works with the original PYXIS top handle.
