Expand a Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K or PYXIS 12K cinema camera for handheld operation and accessory mounting with the black Camera Cage Pro Kit from Tilta. Supplied components include a modular full cage, Xeno top handle with NATO clamp, 15mm LWS baseplate, and two 15mm rods measuring 8" long.
The modular cage consists of removable left and right side panels, a lower plate, an upper plate, and a side-mounted SSD plate that fasten directly to the camera. Together, these parts offer shoe mounts, NATO rails, 15mm rods, an ARRI-style rosette, 1/4"-20 threads, and anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads.
Tilta Full Camera Cage for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K/12K
Increase accessory support and mounting flexibility on a Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K or PYXIS 12K cinema camera with the black Full Camera Cage from Tilta. Its modular construction lets you install or remove individual pieces as required. These include left and right side-arm panels, bottom and top plates, and a side SSD plate that attach directly to the camera. Available interfaces comprise an integrated shoe mount, NATO rails, an ARRI-style rosette, 1/4"-20 threads, and anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads.
The multifunction SSD side plate accepts an optional drive measuring 2.05 to 2.36" wide and 0.47" thick. A quick release lever enables rapid drive locking and removal. The included Manfrotto-type quick release dovetail plate speeds camera installation and attaches through a bottom thread positioned in line with the camera’s optical center. Compatibility with the original PYXIS top handle is retained by the upper plate.
Tilta Battery Plate for Blackmagic PYXIS 6K/12K (V-Mount)
Run a Blackmagic Design PYXIS 6K or PYXIS 12K cinema camera and power-intensive accessories from a V-mount battery using the Battery Plate from Tilta. It attaches securely inside the PYXIS 6K or 12K BP-U battery slot and transfers power from a high-capacity V-mount battery directly to the camera.
Accessory connections consist of two 14.8V D-Tap outputs, one 14.8V 2-pin LEMO-style output, and USB-C output. A DC barrel input supports battery hot-swapping through an external power source when used with a separately available cable.
Tilta Xeno Top Handle with NATO Clamp (Black)
Add this black Tilta Xeno Top Handle to a camera cage for more comfortable low-angle operation. A NATO clamp secures the handle to the cage. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes accommodate articulating arms, cable clamps, and other accessories. One cold shoe slot supports equipment such as a shotgun microphone or wireless transmitter. Its silicone grip provides a comfortable, slip-resistant hold.
Tilta Universal 15mm LWS Manfrotto Baseplate
Add rod support for follow focuses and matte boxes on a RED V-RAPTOR, Blackmagic PYXIS 6K, or other compatible cameras with the Universal 15mm LWS Manfrotto Baseplate from Tilta. Purpose-built for the Tilta camera cage kit, it attaches through a quick release interface. Its 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes also accommodate third-party quick release systems.
A locking toggle provides compatibility with the separately offered 19mm studio version. Underneath, a dovetail receiver supports Tilta- and ARRI-standard dovetails. Aluminum alloy and steel construction combine low weight with durability.

Tilta Threaded 15mm Rod (Black, 8", Single)
Tilta's 8" Threaded 15mm Rod features female threads at both ends, enabling its length to be increased with optional threaded rod adapters. In keeping with Tilta’s standard design, one end is chamfered and the other has a straight cut. The beveled end helps accessories slide onto the rod, while the square-cut end creates a smoother junction between joined rods.
Machined aluminum balances strength with low weight, and a black anodized finish protects against corrosion and wear. Since support-rod threading does not follow an industry-wide standard, optional extensions are best sourced from the same manufacturer.
