ARRI-compatible rosettes on both sides of the baseplate accept optional handheld accessories. The baseplate also integrates 15mm LWS rod clamps and lens support. Compatibility with ARRI and Tilta dovetail plates enables camera mounting and balancing on tripods or other support systems. Attached directly to the camera, the top plate leaves room for Sony’s original FX6 top handle and Tilta’s optional FX6 top handle.
Connecting the side arm between the camera and top plate forms a rigid protective cage. Numerous 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes with ARRI-compatible anti-twist divots cover the side arm and top plate. The right-angle accessory bracket connects to 1/4"-20 threads and uses removable anti-twist pins for greater mounting flexibility. Installed directly in the camera’s BPU battery slot, the V-mount plate boosts battery output to the 19.5 VDC required by the FX6.
Tilta Quick Release Baseplate for Sony FX6
Give your camera dovetail compatibility by pairing this Tilta Quick Release Baseplate for Sony FX6 with the optional Tilta Standard Dovetail. The lightweight aluminum-and-stainless-steel baseplate incorporates rubberized gripping surfaces that help stop the mounted camera from rotating. Built to the LWS standard, it comes with two black 15mm aluminum rods for installing lens accessories. An integrated lens-adapter support bracket reduces excessive strain on the camera’s lens mount when long or heavy lenses are fitted. Additional rubber pads across the plate’s upper surface further resist camera twisting.
Each side of the baseplate provides dual ARRI-compatible rosettes for optional ARRI-style components such as handgrips and arm extensions. Accessories can be positioned and secured throughout a full 360° range for operator comfort and shot requirements. An optional Tilta-standard-to-ARRI-standard multifunctional baseplate also adapts this unit for use with an ARRI-standard dovetail.
Tilta Multifunctional Top Plate for Sony FX6
Increase support and accessory-mounting capacity on a Sony FX6 with this Multifunctional Top Plate from Tilta. Combining aluminum and stainless steel, the durable yet lightweight plate wraps closely around the camera’s original FX6 top handle and also supports Tilta’s own FX6 top handle. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded accessory holes with anti-twist divots provide numerous rigging positions.
Two 15mm rod clamps accept separately available support rods for installing more accessories above the camera. A sensor-plane reference mark on the plate assists with precise focus-distance measurements.
Tilta Battery Plate for Sony FX6 (V-Mount)
Operate an FX6 and demanding accessories from a V-mount battery using the Tilta Battery Plate for Sony FX6. The plate fits and locks into the camera battery bay, and this version powers the FX6 through a dummy-battery connection so the DC input remains available. This arrangement makes battery hot-swapping possible with an optional D-Tap-to-FX6 power cable. For accessory power, the plate supplies two D-Tap outputs, one 2-pin LEMO-style connection, and a USB port.
Tilta Wireless Video Mounting Bracket
Mount a wireless video transmitter conveniently on an FX6 cage by attaching this right-angle Tilta Wireless Video Mounting Bracket through its 1/4"-20 connection. Constructed from aluminum and steel, the 1/4"-20 mounting assembly includes anti-twist divots that reduce the need for excessive screw tightening.
