At 1.3' long, the Neewer RGB2 LED Light Wand with Metal Barndoors is well suited to handheld operation and includes a comfortable grip, magnetic attachment, and optional stand-mounting capability. Its light-stick format supports hair, edge, accent, and background illumination, along with light painting and other creative applications. Detachable barndoors help direct the beam and limit spill. Full RGB operation provides a broad selection of custom colors, complemented by app control and 18 lighting effects. At maximum brightness, the integrated battery operates for 100 minutes. A carrying bag is supplied by Neewer for straightforward transport and storage.
Versatile Full Color Lighting
A broad 2500 to 10,000K CCT range combines with CRI/TLCI ratings of 98/97 to give the RGB2 accurate color reproduction. Its color wheel covers RGB hues from 0 to 360°, with saturation adjustable through 100%. Precise GM correction is also available across a +/- 50 range. Measuring only 15.7 x 1.5 x 1.5", the slim fixture can operate within confined areas.
RGBWW Mixing Technology
Its 296 full-color RGB LEDs generate even, softened illumination reaching 1860 lux at 1.6'. Through RGBWW technology, the RGB2 combines red, green, blue, cold white, and warm white output inside one fixture. More than 90% of the Rec. 2020 color space is covered by its wide gamut. In HSI mode, adjustments to brightness, saturation, and the color wheel provide access to as many as 36,000 colors.
Intuitive Onboard & App Control
Move a finger along the RGB touch bar to browse colors quickly, or manage the fixture's settings from a smartphone through the app. An LCD screen supports clear onboard operation. Neewer's infinity technology remotely controls either one light or a group from distances up to 49.2', and the integrated 2.4 GHz wireless module has a 66' operating range. A scene mode containing various creative effects is included as well.
Effects & Music Sync
Available creative simulations comprise lightning, paparazzi, defective bulb, explosion, welding, CCT flash, color flash, CCT pulse, color pulse, police car, candlelight, color loop, CCT loop, INT loop, TV screen, fireworks, and party. Music sync mode animates the illumination in response to the beats of a song.
Extended Runtime
The RGB2 uses a 14.4V, 43.2Wh lithium battery to deliver 100 minutes of operation at full output. PD3.0 fast charging is supported, and the USB-C 9V, 2A input restores a full charge in 2.7 hours when connected to an optional 18W charger.
Various Mounting Options
Mounting choices include 5/8", 1/4"-20, and magnetic attachment. The RGB2 can adhere to a metal surface for hands-free use or connect to a separately available tabletop tripod or light stand. A 5/8" receiver in the handle accommodates stand installation.
