Travel-friendly support comes in a lightweight form with the BASICS TP12 Aluminum Tripod with Ball Head by Neewer. Its 11 lb load rating accommodates most camera-and-lens pairings, while the working height adjusts from 20.1 to 66.5". Four-section aluminum legs use flip locks for rapid height changes and precise positioning. Accessories can attach through two integrated 1/4"-20 mounting threads. For carrying between locations, the TP12 weighs only 2.9 lb and collapses to 21" long with a diameter of 2.4".
Each leg spreads separately and locks at 22, 55, or 85°, simplifying tripod leveling across uneven ground, while nonslip feet improve traction. The removable, two-section center column incorporates a ballast hook for greater stability and reverses to accommodate macro and low-level compositions. Offering 360° panning and 180° tilting, the ball head also has a precision-numbered scale around its rotating base for repeatable, accurate panoramic captures. An Arca-type quick release plate with a 1/4"-20 mounting screw is supplied with the head. A carrying case, phone holder, and hex key are also included with the TP12.
