The compact, field-ready P3 5G Bonding HDMI/3G-SDI Video Encoder for Outdoor Live Streaming from Kiloview accepts HDMI sources at resolutions through 4K30 and 3G-SDI signals up to 1080p60. H.265 and H.264 encoding prepares video for network delivery through bonded four-channel 5G cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet.

A 4.3" touchscreen LCD complements the P3's portable construction, presenting the IP address, connection state, video format, tally information, CPU status, and temperature in real time. Support for NDI|HX, RTMP, SRT, RTSP, and HLS enables use with numerous streaming platforms. The integrated dual-battery system provides as much as four hours of operation, while the included 12 VDC, 2A adapter offers external power.

Note: Complete 4G/5G operation requires a separately purchased KI4GMODEM or KI5GMODEM 4G/5G modem.

Bonding across as Many as Six Connections

The modular P3 lets operators select 5G, 4G, or Wi-Fi modems to suit demanding field conditions. Up to six links can be bonded to maximize transmission capacity, combining four 5G cellular channels with Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Any 5G module may instead be exchanged for a 4G or Wi-Fi modem, and future updates are intended to support bonding across as many as 10 IP connections. A Wi-Fi hotspot can also be created for transmitting files and data through 4G.

H.265/H.264 Encoding with 4K HDMI and 3G-SDI

Both H.265 and H.264 codecs are supported. Under equivalent conditions, H.265 (HEVC) can reduce the required encoding rate and consume over 50% less bandwidth than H.264. Source compatibility extends to 4K30 through HDMI and 1080p60 through 3G-SDI.

Extensive Protocol Compatibility

NDI|HX, RTMP, SRT, RTSP, and HLS are among the streaming protocols available on the P3. This broad support permits simultaneous broadcasts across major mainstream platforms.

Built-In 4.3" Touchscreen

The integrated 4.3" touchscreen shows the network condition, IP address, source resolution, tally state, processor status, and temperature as they change. Kiloview's proprietary KiloLink technology enables real-time previewing of the incoming picture. Purchasing an additional service also provides one channel of return video.

Continuous Operation through Dual Batteries

A dual-battery module is incorporated into the P3. Each battery supplies up to 6000mAh at 7.2V and 43.2W, allowing the encoder to run for more than four hours while all four 5G cellular channels operate fully. Once the external battery is depleted, power transfers automatically to the internal pack. The system accepts an external power source as well.

Secure, Adaptable Bonding Management

Enhanced KiloLink Server Pro enables centralized administration of every registered device, including status monitoring, previewing, configuration, and firmware installation. Connection information and data statistics remain visible in real time from the server. For P-series products, the software also supplies streaming services with protocol conversion across up to eight channels.

Advanced Video Processing Tools

For more sophisticated productions, the P3 can rotate or crop video and apply customized output overlays containing pictures, text, or other OSD elements. Recording and streaming may occur at the same time to support postproduction. Voice communication is available through the KIS Intercom Server, deployed locally or in the cloud, helping crews stream live from virtually any location.
