Built for professional decoding workflows, the D260 HD IP to SDI/HDMI Video Decoder from Kiloview accepts and outputs video at resolutions through 1080p60. It can decode as many as four channels for simultaneous output while previewing up to 16 incoming video streams.
Connections include one 3G-SDI output and two HDMI outputs, accompanied by support for numerous audio formats, flexible screen arrangements, and Picture-in-Picture configurations. An integrated LCD provides local information. The D260 decodes H.264 and H.265 while accepting NDI, NDI|HX 2/3, SRT, RTMP, RTMPS, HLS, TS over UDP, RTP, and RTSP streams.
Four-Channel H.265/H.264 Decoding
H.265 and H.264 decoding is available for as many as four concurrent 1080p60 outputs. Operators may arrange all four channels on one display or configure them within a PIP (Picture-in-Picture) presentation.
Extensive Streaming Protocol Support
Across IP-based video workflows, the D260 supports current NDI and streaming technologies through two Gigabit Ethernet ports. Compatible protocols include NDI|HX3 (beta), NDI|HX2, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, HLS, TS over UDP, and RTP/RTSP.
Expanded Physical Outputs
As the successor to the DC230, the D260 adds connectivity through two HDMI 2.0 outputs and one 3G-SDI output. These ports can function independently, present a combined multichannel stream, or duplicate one signal across all outputs simultaneously.
Preview 16 Streams and Output Four
In its "preview + output" configuration, the decoder displays previews for up to 16 streams and lets users select four for concurrent screen output. The same capability can support PVW/PGM monitoring.
Advanced Audio Processing
Compatible audio formats include AAC, MPEG-4, MPEG-2, G.711, Opus, and LPCM. The D260 can enable or mute sound, mix audio, and adjust gain in real time, then route the result alternately through HDMI, SDI, or the 3.5mm line output.
Configurable Screen Arrangements
A straightforward drag-and-drop interface creates personalized multichannel displays, including custom grids and PIP (Picture-in-Picture) layouts. Further display options include presenting information such as resolution and bit rate.
Integrated LCD and Touch Controls
An onboard LCD and touch-sensitive buttons simplify local operation. The display also lets users inspect transmission information as it changes in real time.
USB Connectivity for Expansion
USB-C and USB-A ports extend decoder functionality by supporting connections for PTZ operation and intercom equipment.
