The CUBE R1 9-Channel NDI Recorder System from Kiloview is a multichannel NDI recording platform with an integrated 5.5" touchscreen. It captures as many as nine synchronized channels at resolutions through UHD 4K60 and provides viewing layouts for one, four, or nine sources. Two hot-swappable SSD bays support continuous recording, while dual Ethernet ports maintain dependable network bandwidth.
Nine-Channel NDI Capture
Suitable for broadcasting, healthcare, videoconferencing, and large-format display installations, the CUBE R1 records up to nine NDI feeds concurrently at rates reaching UHD 4K60. Synchronized preview grids display 1, 4, or 9 sources. Two 10GbE ports provide reliable data throughput, while redundant power supplies and cooling fans help sustain uninterrupted operation.
Hot-Swappable Dual SSD Bays
Two hot-swappable slots permit recording to continue without interruption and accept all current NVMe SSD types. A safety-lock switch protects the installed media, and USB-C connectivity offers an additional route for expanding storage.
Time-Synchronized Sources
A user-defined NTP server keeps every NDI source synchronized during capture. Recording can then be initiated easily with a single click.
Flexible Multiview Displays
Choose among single-source, four-source, and nine-source multiview arrangements. Selectable overlays include VU meters, audio levels, tally information, present bitrate, synchronization state, and source labels. Video and audio feeds can also be named freely for faster identification throughout a session.
Recording Protection
Video is captured continuously and independently from the source camera, helping preserve complete and accurate files. When one file reaches capacity, the system advances automatically. An automatic lock also requires two confirmations before recording can be paused or the system unlocked.
Integrated 5.5" Touchscreen
The onboard touchscreen lets operators inspect disk capacity, processor use, temperature, network bandwidth, and other important conditions that may influence recording performance and quality.
Files Defined by Duration or Size
Recordings may be divided according to a specified running time or predetermined file size. As soon as the current segment fills, the CUBE R1 begins writing to the next file automatically, helping prevent dropped frames.
