In its primary imaging role, Designed for cine-style picture capture and covering up to full-frame size sensors, the black Leica L-mount 45mm T1.5 Cine Lens from IRIX incorporates several internal and outboard design features. External attributes incorporate a 95mm front diameter, 0.8 MOD gears, luminous focus marks in feet, and a detachable 1/4″-20 support foot. Internally, nine blades produce smooth, rounded bokeh, and five seals protect against inclement weather and dust.

To help eliminate aberrations and distortion, the IRIX 45mm T1.5 Cine Lens is constructed with 11 optical elements in nine groups, such as four HR (high refractive index) and three ED (extra-low dispersion) elements. This lens has 180° of focus and 75° of iris rotation and incorporates an 86mm front filter thread.

45mm Focal Range

A 45mm focal length with the Leica L lens mount is ideal for capturing crisp details and vibrant colors.

Full-Frame Format Coverage

The 43.3mm picture circle of this lens covers up to full-frame format sensors.

Rounded Bokeh Rendering

Produces the “IRIX look” with shallow depth of field and a 9-blade iris for smooth, rounded bokeh.

High-Speed T1.5 Aperture

• Fast T1.5 maximum aperture enables you to capture images in low light levels without having to crank up your ISO setting.

MMS Magnetic Mounting

• Like the rest of the Cine series (except the 11mm), the 45mm prime features the Magnetic Mount System (MMS).
• Provides compatibility with the separately available, magnetically stacking IRIX Edge MMS filters and the MMS Lens Hood.

Environmental Sealing

Sealed against rain, snow, and dust like the rest of the IRIX cine series and able to withstand an extensive selection of temperatures.
