A Closer Look at Fujinon SS-15D

This Digipower Full-Servo Control Kit from Fujifilm adds remote servo operation for both focus and zoom on Premier Series, Select Series, or Broadcast servo lenses. Supplied components are an EPD-41A-D01/D02 focus position demand unit, an ERD-40A-D01 zoom rate demand unit, two 12-pin communication cables, and two mounting clamps.

The focus demand unit connects to the lens through a 12-pin cable to provide electronic servo focusing, and a clamp secures it to one of the operator's handles. A second clamp holds the zoom demand unit on a handle; that unit connects to the lens's servo zoom socket for precise zoom adjustment.
