The highest aperture is a fast f/1.8 from 4.5 to 41mm and ramps to f/2.8 at 63mm. The lens integrates a digital servo for zoom control, and focus can be either manual- or servo-controlled. An onboard focus mechanism minimizes the effects of lens breathing, which maintains a more consistent angle of view whenever making focus adjustments.
