Designed for content producers, podcasters, and streamers, the Wave DX Dynamic Microphone by Elgato combines condenser-style detail with low-noise dynamic performance. Its forgiving cardioid pattern delivers unidirectional capture, while a stronger-than-usual output provides powerful audio without requiring an inline microphone activator. The voice-tuned frequency response and optimized proximity effect allow close placement for full, rich vocal recordings.

An integrated pop filter significantly reduces plosives, and the hardened steel body improves durability while limiting internal noise artifacts. The microphone comes with an adjustable swiveling 5/8" yoke that fits all boom arms and prevents cable jamming. Included 3/8 and 1/4" adapters also permit installation on more conventional microphone stands.

Developed jointly by Elgato and Lewitt, the Wave DX dynamic capsule captures the sensitivity and detail associated with condenser microphones while avoiding their typical excess noise.
