The new Extended Lower Fast Release Plate maintains more stable body mounting and is practical for installing optics support for secure settings.
Whenever the gimbal is powered off, you can push and hold the power control, and the three axes open up while the gimbal extends automatically, enabling you to start working in only two seconds.
