At the point of image capture, Add professional observation and high-quality capture to your camera with the Footage Assist 3G-SDI/HDMI 7" Capture Monitor from Blackmagic Design. It provides a bright 7", 1920 x 1200 screen with 300 cd/m² luminance to help you shot and concentrate your shots, and it offers 3G-SDI and HDMI sources for capture the footage output from professional and prosumer cameras. You can monitor and capture footage resolutions up to 1080p60 10-little 4:2:2 and up to 16 channels of embedded 24-little 48 kHz audio. This monitor additionally contains two balanced 3-pin mini-XLR sources with 48V phantom power compatibility for crisp audio capture. Firmware update 3.3.1 adds a footage output through the USB Type-C port that can be employed to convert your linked camera for webcam use. It additionally adds XLR audio mapping to distinct channels, XLR outboard timecode, and choose channel selection for audio observation.
The Footage Assist 3G 7" records to SDXC/SDHC memory cards through dual UHS-I SD medium ports. Use the USB Type-C port to capture for configuring and upgrading the display. Footage is recorded through industry-standardized Apple ProRes (HQ, 422, LT, or Proxy) and Avid DNxHD codecs.
This monitor's touchscreen connection permits you to refine settings and access observation functions such as histogram, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, and many additional scopes and light levels tools. There is additionally a tally illumination on top of the display to indicate it is working and capture. Select among 11 interface languages to simplify menus and displayed text choices. Power the monitor through the supplied 12V power adapter or through separately provided Sony L-Series type battery packs on the dual battery ports.
