The Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini IP Footage 12G from Support’s up to 12G-SDI files rates, is a 12G-SDI/Ethernet encoder/decoder that allows TICO encoding for high-quaity footage over Ethernet transmission.
The space-efficient size of the Teranex Mini makes it very valuable for portable racks at live productions or in broadcast trucks.
One device is required at each end several units can be employed on the same installation—controlled by a Mac or Windows computer through the included Blackmagic Footage Hub software.
The unit handles up to 1080p60 over a Gigabit Ethernet LAN with higher files rates supported by through an optional 10G optical Ethernet connector.
The Mini IP Footage 12G has a single 12G-SDI source and two 12G-SDI feeds In asset to the Gigabit Ethernet connector and a slot for an optional 10G SFP.
An optional Smart Front Panel with a built-in LCD screen offers local configuration and control and replaces the standard panel with DIP selector setup that comes with the device.
Up to three units can be readily installed in an optional 1 RU 19" rack tray, and it contains a built-in 90-240V power supply, and all you'll requirement is a standard IEC power lead, sold separately.

TICO encoding is a graphically lossless compression developed to let you distribute footage across an IP installation.
