Blackmagic Design Teranex AV — Product Guide
Beginning with its core design, Constructed with professional A/V installations and live productions in mind, the Blackmagic Design Teranex AV by enjoys 1089 up, down, cross, and standards conversions for formats ranging from NTSC and PAL to 2K and UHD 4K footage. Regardless of conversion, all computation is done in real-time with minimal latency of approximately two frames.
A bevy of source and feed options are provided for dealing with professional and consumer inputs.
SDI sources accept SD, HD, 3G, 6G, and 12G-SDI, whereas the HDMI source is v2.0 compliant.
An optional fiber link can be populated by a separately provided SFP cage.
Embedded audio is accepted, as well as analog audio through XLR and RCA stereo sources.
Video feeds incorporate SDI and HDMI as well as four extra SDI feed for quad-link 4K feed or four mirrored feeds.
All conversions can be controlled through the complete front panel keys and menu navigation, or via Ethernet, if part of an installation.
