The Blackmagic Design Smart Videohub 40 x 40 12G-SDI from is a mixed configuration router with 40 12G-SDI sources and 40 12G-SDI feeds for routing any combination of SD, HD, Ultra HD 4K, and DCI 4K footage.
It allows 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 colour sampling and 10-bit processing for more fluid gradations.
Housed in a 2RU shot, the Smart Videohub excellent for use in both large broadcast systems or portable mini racks for live workflows.
A built-in LCD lets see your inputs straight on the router itself, with simple push keys and spin knob provided for control.
Routing can additionally be controlled through dedicated off-site panels or over Ethernet through the supplied software for Mac OS X and Windows.
You can even use the provided iPad app to change routing over your cable-free network.
