To top their previous achievement with the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, Blackmagic Design adds an even more full-featured, space-efficient Super35 camera to their cine-style range with the Pocket Cinema Unit 6K Pro by.  The 6K Pro contains all the capture incorporates, sensor, moving-coil range, keys, and ports as the previous model, and adds a selection of important new attributes such as a 5" tilting HDR capacitive touchscreen LCD with 1500 cd/m² luminance, a Pro EVF option, built-in detailed/2/4/6-stop ND filters, dual mini-XLR sources, an accurate timecode clock, a NP-F570 L-series battery slot, and revised Gen 5 colour science. With only a slightly broader form format than the 6L, the 6K Pro records the identical resolutions up to 50 fps 6144 x 3456 footage, and it retains the valuable active Canon EF fitting, letting operators take benefit of the expansive array of EF/EF-S fitting lenses provided. The EF mount accommodates iris, autofocus, and zoom functions through electronic communication whenever using compatible lenses. The 6K Pro can turn one shot into two by cropping a second attempt from one shot, upscaling to 8K, or simply capturing rich, detailed footage with your preferred EF/EF-S-mount lens. The updated Gen 5 onboard color processing makes it simple to intercut 6K Pro, 6K, and BMPCC 4K footage. Capture using the onboard CFast 2.0 and SD/UHS-II medium slots or through the full-size HDMI port to an optional ATEM Mini switcher for live broadcasting, or feed through the USB Type-C port to acquisition longer clips to an outboard SSD. The 6K Pro incorporates a DaVinci Resolve Soundstage license and accommodates Blackmagic Raw acquisition from the sensor. Through the Raw configuration with the sensor's metadata streamlines editing to match any job and makes editing easier with DaVinci Resolve. The space-efficient 6K Pro retains the familiar settings and menu layout of the 6K version, such as ISO compatibility up to 25,600, 13 stops of moving-coil range, and 1920 x 1080 HDR monitor feed. Professional audio support now incorporates two mini XLR sources with phantom +48V power, a 3.5millimetres stereo source, a mono speaker, a headphone feed, and a built-in two-channel mic system. Extra pro capabilities incorporate lens metadata support, 3D LUT use for both observation and capture, up to 21.2MP still picture capture, and a multifunction handhold that permits single-handed operation. Sync several cameras for a performance, event, or other multicamera sessions by linking an outboard timecode generator to the 6K Pro onboard timecode generator (accessed through the 3.5millimetres audio port).
