Super space-efficient and durable, the Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 12G from Blackmagic Design permits you to stage HDMI bodies or computers to pro-style SDI (BNC) displays or components. You can additionally use several units to extend HDMI over long distances, through a SDI cable. This space-efficient converter has one HDMI source and two 12G-SDI feeds, and they can be selected to Level An or B when using 3G-SDI. It auto-detects and matches your HDMI source to the SDI feed and is compatible with source/feed definitions up to DCI/UHD 4K60. The pocket-sized Micro Converter HDMI to SDI 12G incorporates HDMI timecode compatibility, SDI re-clocking for support over long lead runs, HDMI copy protection, and compatibility for a broad variety of pro broadcast definitions, including cine-style 48 fps. The converter integrates a sturdy metal housing with power and feed LED status indicators and durable connector connections. The USB Type-C port permits the HDMI to SDI 12G converter to readily connect to and be energized by adapters, displays, laptops, or desktop computers, and it additionally facilitates firmware renewals from a Windows or macOS PC. A 5V power adapter and an international plug interface set is supplied with the converter.
