Secure the Blackmagic Design Unit Fiber Converter to your URSA Broadcast unit to connection with Studio infrastructure through SMPTE fiber optic lead and a separately provided Studio Fiber Converter for breakout up to 1.6 miles away. The converter shifts the primary common camera settings to the rear of the unit assembly for ease of operator availability. Studio-standard interfacing incorporates talkback headset 5-pin XLR ports, as well as SDI footage for monitor feed. In total, the imaging device Fiber Converter has a one outgoing 12G-SDI link for HD or UHD 4K footage and three incoming 3G-SDI links for observation with a standalone Studio viewfinder. Use the V-lock at the top to secure the Studio viewfinder. All installation hardware is supplied for securing the converter to the unit.
