Blackmagic Design ATEM Talkback Converter 4K — Product Guide

With 12G-SDI, Blackmagic Design's ATEM Talkback Converter 4K by accepts high-resolution footage from up to eight soundstage cameras or ATEM Body Converters and enables the control room to interact with the unit crews.
The 12G-SDI links can support footage with definitions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 fps and rout those individual feeds to a switcher via SDI feeds, to a program display via its own SDI feed, and rear to the unit operator whereas carrying talkback audio over a one lead.
Talkback audio can be captured through a microphone plugged into the XLR jack on the front, or a headset mic plugged into the appropriate jack, additionally on the front panel.
This device can be upgraded to accept fiber optic links, which carry, bi-directional 4K footage, audio, and talkback for up to 28 miles eliminating signal degradation.
And since of the unit's 1 RU size, it can readily fit into industry standard rack-mount hardware and furniture.

The ATEM Talkback Converter 4K can be upgraded to use standard one setting optical fiber lead with standard LC connectors to enable you to transmit SD and HD footage feeds up to 28 miles away.
Standard copper wire SDI leads deliver a limit of several hundred feet before the feed breaks up, converting the SDI feed to optical, and sending it along optical lead greatly increases the range of your lead runs.
