Whether you're extending a podcasting soundstage or you only need more microphones, the Blackmagic Design ATEM Microphone Converter permits audio-input expansion for your ATEM Television Soundstage by converting four analog XLR sources to MADI.
Fitted with two BNC MADI I/O ports, the Microphone Converter simply connects into the ATEM Television Soundstage MADI port, so there's no involved setup required—and extra units can even be daisy chained for more inputs.
The four XLR-1/4" combo analog sources are mic-/line-selectable and deliver 48V phantom power.
The ATEM Microphone Converter utilizes 32-little float electronic preamps and eight ADCs per source to capture clip-free, 24-bit / 48 kHz captures with an extremely low noise floor, a wide dynamic selection, while keeping distortion extremely low across both quiet and loud performances.
A practical HDMI feed with scrolling audio waveforms permits you to connect a screen to display the status of your audio.
USB and Ethernet ports enable for off-site admin and software updates through the ATEM Software Control app.
