Azden SGM-3500L Broadcast Directional Microphone is developed for footage and audio workflow with a camcorder, footage DSLR, or portable audio recorder. With a frequency response of 40 Hz to 20 kHz, it fits boom pole use in professional footage productions.
Measuring nearly 10" in long, the SGM-3500L's long interference barrel generates a hypercardioid polar response resulting in extreme off-axis audio rejection, especially at the above frequencies. Built around an all metal brass chassis that delivers best RF rejection and durability, 48V phantom power, a gold-plated XLR connector to maintain a good link and elevated protection to corrosion and a boosted frequency response around 5 kHz where spoken word articulation is primary present for definition, the SGM-3500L boasts an ultralow interference floor at 13 dB for crystal detailed audio.
