When image acquisition begins, the Azden SGM-1000 is a professional super-cardioid directional microphone developed for capturing audio for footage, ENG/EFP, audio reinforcement or general capture uses. The super-cardioid polar response is highly efficient in reducing noise and ambient sound at the flanks of the element.
The wide frequency response, elevated dynamic selection and signal-to-noise ratio make the SGM-1000 appropriate for uses that require broadcast fidelity audio capturing. A low frequency roll-off selector eliminates interference and rumble at 200Hz. The 3-pin XLR male feed connector is a low impedance connector enabling complete compatibility with 3.5mm (1/8") mini links as well as professional XLR female sources. The SGM-1000 can be energized with an outboard 12-52VDC phantom power source or a one AAA alkaline battery.

The SGM-1000 is able of power through 12 to 52VDC phantom power source or one AAA alkaline battery.
