Starting with the optical platform, the Shark S6 6-Channel HDMI/SDI Footage Switcher from AVMATRIX integrates 6-channel HDMI/SDI source / feed and can stream via Ethernet, capture and connect to computer conferencing apps via USB, PTZ camera control, SD card and USB capture, transitions, effects, audio mixing, keying, and provides a 5" HD color display.

Live Stream via Ethernet: Guide

The LAN port allows IP streaming transmission via RTMP/S, RTSP, and SRT protocols, allowing operators to easily live stream footage to platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch for high-quality productions.

SD Card Record and External USB

The SD card slot and USB-An interface enable direct capture of the program (PGM) feed, making it easy to capture your live program. The unit provides support for up to 32 Mb/s encoding in MJPEG file format.

Streaming via USB: Guide

The USB-C port enables the switcher to go into webcam setting, sending footage and audio feed with a computer for live delivery through OBS, vMix, Teams, Twitch, YouTube, Skype, VLC, and similar platforms. Compatibility includes Windows, Linux, and macOS computer systems.

PTZ Camera operation

Featuring PTZ control, crews can from a distance control the pan, tilt, and zoom of PTZ cameras via LAN and/or RS-232/422/485 serial links. It accommodates VISCA, VISCA-over-IP, Pelco P/D, and ONVIF protocols.

There are four SDI and two HDMI sources, two SDI and one HDMI PGM feeds, one HDMI multiview feed, and two SDI aux feeds that enable crews to configure and bring together feed from any of the six sources, PGM, PVW, multiview, and more.

The switcher accommodates both portrait and landscape settings for multiview output. The operator can choose the layout they need, depending upon distinct streaming and production needs.

The built-in audio mixer enhances your productions by combining two outboard mic sources and six-input embedded audio. Crews can additionally set the AFV and utilize the audio delay feature to maintain footage/audio sync.
