Measuring 29.1 x 13.3", this 2x1 panel incorporates a full-spectrum RGBACL engine, an expansive 1500-20,000K CCT range, precise color reproduction, and numerous wired and wireless control methods. Its IP66-rated enclosure supports operation in all weather. A built-in power supply improves portability, while power daisy chaining enables larger grids made from several SkyPanel X units. With an optional adapter, the fixture can also accept every S60 accessory.

SkyPanel X provides numerous control pathways, beginning with its robust weather-resistant panel and ARRI's new Bluetooth-enabled LiCo App. Additional choices include LumenRadio wireless integration, DMX-512A, RDM, Art-Net 4, sACN, LAN IP, CRMX Classic, CRMX2, W-DMX G3 / G4 / G4S / G5, BLE, and Native Bluetooth 5.0.
Expanded LiOS3 Features
LiOS3 introduces multiple software enhancements, including new DMX presets, additional ARRI ALEXA modes, and one unified DMX profile when fixtures operate in X22 or X23 configurations.
Virtual SkyPanel X Digital Twin
The SkyPanel X digital twin from ARRI enables highly accurate lighting simulations in a virtual environment. By bringing digital-twin technology into the process, it reshapes cinematic lighting workflows throughout preproduction, production, and postproduction.
Realistic operating behavior, detailed 3D models, and approachable interfaces provide filmmakers with sophisticated planning resources. Lighting can be visualized, coordinated, and shared more easily, improving creative flexibility, consistency, and production efficiency.
Production Uses
Place the X21 near talent as a soft source and use its flicker-free low-end dimming for close work. ARRI ALEXA modes also let its color science be tailored to the ALEV 3 and ALEV 4 sensors found in ARRI ALEXA cameras.
When fitted with the HyPer Optic, the SkyPanel X becomes a forceful source suitable for projecting through windows with diffusion. It provides the punch and circular beam associated with conventional point-source fixtures while retaining the benefits of LED technology.
