Expandable Daisy-Chain Configurations
Multiple fixtures can be joined with barely visible spaces between them. As many as twelve 2' Omnibars may receive power and data from one source, accelerating installation and reducing reliance on lengthy cable runs.
Rapid Optics Changes
Flexible rigging choices and a setup-oriented design help simplify installation while conserving production time. Optics load from the front, secure magnetically, and swap easily whenever a different lighting treatment is required.
Use the supplied flat diffuser to soften output in a controlled manner without substantially changing the beam angle. The included intensifier concentrates maximum output into a narrow 60° beam, while an optional round diffuser provides the broadest spread and greatest softness.
Integrated Battery and Onboard Interface
An intuitive menu on the built-in LCD provides access to CCT, RGB, and Effects operation, along with runtime information and DMX setup.
A high-capacity internal battery accompanies a control panel recessed within the rail, putting essential functions such as color selection and lighting or pixel effects directly on the fixture. If replacement becomes necessary, the battery is designed for complete service replacement by ARRI Service, an authorized service partner, or an appropriately equipped rental facility.
Weather-Resistant IP65 Construction
An IP65 weatherproof rating and robust housing protect the Omnibar against dust, water, and challenging environmental conditions. Battery life starts at two hours while operating at maximum brightness and extends to 24 hours at reduced output. This durable design also suits semi-permanent installations indoors or outdoors.
Versatile Omniclip Mounts
The supplied Omniclips wrap around the fixture and offer several threaded connection points plus three selectable angles. They hold the light securely in a horizontal position for uplighting and other low-angle uses. Multiple attachment points also make the clips suitable for fixing bars to walls, scenery, and compatible threaded surfaces.
Omnigrip and Omnipin Rigging
Together, the included Omnigrip and Omnipins provide a fast 16mm mounting solution for compatible stands, clamps, and grip heads. Additional attachment points accept the supplied eyebolts when safety chains are required.
The components also enable virtually seamless fixture combinations in either vertical or horizontal arrangements. Two 2' bars, for instance, can form a 4' floor fixture, while joining one 4' bar with a 2' unit creates a 6' configuration.
Steel Safety Eyebolts
Manufactured from high-grade steel, each eyebolt serves as an important safeguard for mounted lighting equipment. A specialized 3/8" screw lets the adapter attach firmly to either side of the Omnibar for dependable stability. Every fixture in the set is accompanied by two eyebolts.
Adjustable Mini Tripod
Four height positions make the mini tripod adaptable to numerous vertical setups. Its straightforward installation supports quick fixture placement, particularly when the Omnibar is operating from its internal battery.
Multiple Wireless Control Methods
Beyond the fixture's local interface and wired DMX capabilities, wireless operation is supported through an integrated LumenRadio TimoTwo CRMX chip or the Bluetooth Omnibar app. ARRI's new Bluetooth Mesh Protocol lets individual fixtures pass control signals among themselves, improving connection reliability and extending range without extra equipment. The app can even synchronize and manage effects sent over Bluetooth.
ARRI Omnibar Control App for iPhone
Wireless commands can reach each Omnibar through either its LumenRadio TimoTwo CRMX chip or the streamlined ARRI Omnibar Control App. The app combines an uncluttered lighting-control arrangement with comprehensive status information and accessible configuration pages. From an iPhone, users can rapidly establish DMX and control parameters for an entire case of Omnibar fixtures.
The Blackout app offers another option for smooth interaction with CRMX wireless equipment such as LumenRadio. It supports reliable communication, streamlined fixture patching, accurate color-control tools, and demonstrations covering several forms of user interaction across the control process.
Optional Omnibase
Adding the separately sold Omnibase brings wired DMX operation to wireless Omnibar fixtures while retaining IP-rated protection and dependable performance in varied weather.
Its responsive touchscreen is paired with extensive networking support, including Art-Net and sACN, with as many as six universes carried directly over the combined power and data cables.
