The BLAIR Chip Innovation: Guide 
The new STORM series of LED monolights, with the 1200x being the first version, showcases Aputure's pioneering BLAIR chipset, which incorporates blue, lime, amber, indigo, and red LEDs for enhanced brightness and color fidelity. Achieving a 95 CRI and TLCI rating, alongside an 87 SSI score at both 3200K and 5600K, the multicolor diodes significantly enhance the light's ability to match colors. The light boasts a CCT range from 2500 to 10,000K, with built-in green-magenta correction for superior white-point control. Additionally, the daylight 5600K feed delivers 202,500 lux at 3.3' whenever paired with the included 45° reflector.
Connectivity and Enhanced Dimming
Equipped with an enhanced controller, the STORM 1200x includes smooth dimming, control, and expanded operation. Stepless dimming from 0.1 to 100% maintains flicker-free, color-consistent feed even at minimal brightness levels. The system accommodates both wired and wireless control, featuring DMX, LumenRadio CRMX, Art-Net, and sACN Ethernet protocols. Additionally, it delivers app-based control via Bluetooth via the Sidus Link and Sidus Link Pro apps, making it seamlessly compatible with professional lighting setups.
Performance and Durability
Developed to withstand harsh conditions, the light’s IP65-rated construction maintains resistance to dust and moisture, making it ideal for challenging settings. It additionally incorporates a Bowens S mount, allowing compatibility with numerous Bowens-modifiers, enabling easy attachment and secure locking for versatile use.
