For professional deployment, The AJA KONA 1-S brings KONA 1 capture and playback capabilities to the short, low-profile card format. It's developed for OEM developers and enables an onboard link for an optional outboard RS-422 9-pin connector (while the tall version incorporates an integrated 9-pin connector).

Mac, Windows, and Linux compatibility is provided through its 2-lane PCIe 2.0 interface, while the card provides single-channel 3G-SDI 2K/HD 60p frame-accurate source/feed with selectable reference/LTC source. It also handles simultaneous monitoring during capture.
